Oak Ridge High School Graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2025 at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 6 p.m. at Blankenship Field. Currently, graduation is proceeding as scheduled. We are monitoring the weather, and while there are no current indications of a need to adjust our plans for the ceremony, we are sharing the protocol below should there be a significant change in the forecast.
The decision of whether to postpone the graduation ceremony will be made by 5 p.m. today, Friday, May 16. That announcement will be made via text, phone call and email to all high school students and families through the district’s ParentSquare platform. The announcement will also be posted to the district’s social media pages, website and shared as an email announcement to local media outlets. This webpage will be updated with all the most recent updates regarding the 2024-25 graduation ceremony.
As always, should Friday’s graduation be cancelled due to weather, the ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at Blankenship Field.
