For Presentations Requiring Technology

Videos in presentations should not be played from Google Docs. The best practice is to upload the presentation to OneDrive and play the video from there.

Also, keep in mind that Internet page are filtered at four different levels: Faculty/Staff, High School, Middle Schools, and Elementary/Preschool. Your location will affect what you may or may not access on the web. For this reason, pre-presentation run-throughs are essential!

For Student Computers

Assigned Seating for Classrooms and Labs

Each time a computer running a Windows operating system is logged onto, a user profile is built. If the same student uses the same computer, the user profile that already exists will be used (instead of a new profile being built for a new student). This will speed up the login process. If a class is using OneNote, students should not close it during the school day. This will ensure any changes made by the teacher are sync’d properly.

Rebooting Student Computers

We recommend rebooting student computers during a convenient part of the day (homeroom, last period, study hall, etc.) prior to going home.
