How to Back Up Your Google Chrome Bookmarks, Passwords and Other Settings

 

As an ORS employee, you can use Google to backup you Chrome Bookmarks, Passwords and other settings. While there is a way to backup just your bookmarks, you can let Google manage other settings by signing into Google with your ORTN username and password.

Open the Chrome Browser and select the Customize and Control setting in the top right corner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This will bring you to the Chrome Settings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select Sign in to Chrome and use your ORTN username and password.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select Link Data

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This will link the following data to your Chrome account:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a useful way to backup your Chrome Bookmarks, Apps from the Chrome Store, and Passwords. When you sign onto another computer and open Chrome your bookmarks, history and apps will also be available from that computer.
