Vice-Principal’s Message
Lo, in the halcyon days of 1995, I was a middle schooler in Mr. Cox’s gym class, and never did I think I would be working with him as his vice-principal. It is absolutely my honor and privilege to support him and all the students, families, and staff at Jefferson Middle School as the vice-principal.
From my time as an instructional technology coach from 2019-2021, JMS continues to grow and provide opportunities to students in a wide variety of subjects, utilizing various programs such as Kami, Zearn, Desmos, Canvas, and more in our classrooms each day. We are very proud of our teachers and students implementation of asynchronous and synchronous learning through the past three years in our core academics, our special area rotations, world languages, orchestra, band, chorus, art, STEM Aeronautics, business, Algebra 1… so many classes for our Eagles to explore and grow as students and people. We look forward to continuing high levels of instruction in which all students can excel.
Many of our students are involved in a variety of extracurricular activities that allow them the opportunity to grow at their own pace in a safe, nurturing environment. Our clubs include our award winning Lego League, Chess Club, Interact Club, Athletics and many more! There is something for each of our students.
