The Knoxville Urban League has expanded to include Anderson Co and the City of Oak Ridge for their National Achievers Scholars program.  Applications are due on May 6th.  The National Achievers Society (NAS) is an honor society that recognizes and celebrates the academic achievements of students of color across Knox County and the surrounding areas.  This is an excellent opportunity for our students of color to develop mentoring relationships with professionals throughout the school year who encourage them to stay on track at school, engage in field trips,  and follow through on their hopes and dreams for college and future careers.

Qualifying students received an invitation to apply in your ortn.edu email from Mrs. Thompson.  NAS requires a current GPA of 3.0 or higher, completion of the application, including the essay, and attending the induction ceremony.
