If you do not see a specific teacher or class then you can expect them to give you a list or talk about what will be needed in the first few days of school.

Advanced Chemistry – Haynes

  • Students will have the option to be organized by what works best for the individual. The organization plan must meet the following needs:
    • A place to take notes and keep notes throughout the semester.
    • A place to keep reference sheets and tables throughout the semester.
    • A place to keep returned work and quizzes throughout each unit.
  • Some options are a composition book and folder with pockets, a small binder, a portion of a large binder that can be dedicated to chemistry, etc. Students will have access to staplers and hole punches inside of the classroom.
  • Students will also need a pair of earbuds that work with our laptops. They will need to have the earbuds with them every day.
  • Students will need to bring a scientific calculator with them every day to class. The one required for their math class will also work for chemistry.
  • Finally, students will need pens and pencils. Pencils with good erasers are preferred by most students as we will be doing many calculations in this class.

AP Chemistry – Hodge

  • A USB-stick for work back-up
