STUDENT INFO

Have you ever thought you’d like to try to get up on stage and join the fun with the Masquers? Now is your chance! We are having auditions for our spring musical, Tuck Everlasting, on Saturday, December 13^th, with callbacks on Sunday, December 14^th. We are looking for singers, actors and dancers to join us to bring this magical story to life! Scan the QR code on the Masquers office door or look for a link in the i-news for information about preparing for auditions and for sign-ups.

Students who applied for the TN Promise scholarship may also be eligible for the UT Promise scholarship!  The UT Promise is a last-dollar scholarship for students accepted into undergraduate programs at UT Knoxville, Chattanooga, Martin, Memphis, and Southern.  If you are interested in attending a UT System institution next fall, please complete the UT Promise application by December 15, 2025!

FCCLA is collecting donations for NEW stuffed animals for the Isaih 1 17 house, a local foster home. Drop off all NEW stuffies in Dr. Sparks’ room by December 16th (CS 350).

Looking for some extra help preparing for the December ACT? Mr. Stebbins is offering one more practice session starting on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 3:15-4:00 in CS339. This one will focus on the science portion of the ACT. If you have any questions beforehand, stop by his room or email him at wmstebbins@ortn.edu.

CLUB INFO

FCA will meet on FRIDAY morning, December 12th, at 7:00 AM!!  We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) – directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school.  Doors open and refreshments begin at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately 7:10.  We will dismiss by 7:35.  All are welcome!!!  If you have any questions, contact Coach McKeethan (football/baseball coach).

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars! Rocket club will meet this Thursday after school in Ms Fairfax’s room, LC210. We’ll be planning our spring launch and competition dates so be sure to join us! Check the bulletin board in the LC200 science hallway for more information!
