STUDENT INFO

The Library is giving you an “Art Attack!” Come by the library to see student artwork on display! And keep coming back, cause we’ll be changing it up regularly. ((M,Th) C. Milloway

Encourage your artist friends to submit designs for the Class of 2023 Senior Shirt to Mrs. Ledden in Room CS347 by Thursday, September 22. You do not have to be a senior to submit designs for the shirt—open to all grade levels.

**We need a front shirt design and a back shirt design. Prizes:  Front – $25; Back – $25. (That’s $50 if you win both!)

**Be sure to incorporate ORHS, Seniors, and Class of 2023 into your drawings. See Mrs. Ledden if you would like to see designs from previous years.

The Counseling Department’s annual College and Career Fair is being held 9/26/22 from 5:30-7pm in the Wildcat Arena.  We have over 70 universities, college and military representatives scheduled.  SWATaco will be set up at 5 for dinner.

SENIOR INFO

Tuesday, September 20th, the Class of 2023 will be participating in TN Promise/Community College Day. This annual event is when members of the TN Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC) and Roane State meet with our Seniors and help them apply for the TN Promise Scholarship and apply to a community college. For some of our students, this will be their safety plan, but for others, this will solidify their post-secondary plans. For the last two years, half of our college bound students have made the choice to use their TN Promise and attend a community college. We are thankful that TSAC and RSCC set aside this day to come and meet with our students. Attendance will be taken and is mandatory. It will be the same schedule that we followed for Senior Seminars. The schedule is under the Announcement Section of the Class of 2023 Canvas Page and has been emailed to all students.
