Mr. Feuer will be offering an AP Literature and Composition Exam review during 3rd period on Monday May 2. Email Mr. Feuer at mfeuer@ortn.edu to reserve a spot. (Th-M) – M. Feuer

There will be a girls soccer interest meeting for the summer/fall 2022 season on Tuesday May 3 and Friday May 13 for those that are planning to try out/play on the ORHS girls soccer team. This meeting is for current students enrolled at ORHS.  The meetings will begin at 3:45 pm at the Food Court upper level.  Parents are encouraged to attend if possible. Coach Green will be there to answer any questions and will have information/paperwork for the tryouts and upcoming season. Before you head to Prom on Saturday evening, make plans to join the Motorcycle Club at Honda of Knoxville on Clinton Highway for Yamaha Demo day. Come see the newest models and learn about care and maintenance for any late model street bikes. The clinic begins at 10 am and lunch is provided! (F) –  E. Hondorf

TnPromise Opportunities

Robertsville Middle School will host their STEM night on May 19th.  Volunteers are needed from 4:30 – 8:00 pm.  A form has been sent to seniors’ ortn.edu email with a link to sign up to volunteer.  The due date to sign up is May 16th.  Underclassmen are welcome to email Mrs. Thompson at sathompson@ortn.edu if you want to volunteer. JUNIOR INFORMATION

 

Juniors registered for the Business Academy Work-Based Learning (Co-op) program for 22-23 should attend the mandatory meeting after school on Tuesday, May 3, in CS347. The meeting will last approximately 45 minutes. (Tu) T. Ledden

 

SENIOR INFORMATION

Seniors: if you have not picked up your cap & gown set from Mrs. Ledden in CS347, you may do so until 1:30 today. Otherwise, you will need to wait until Tuesday, May 3rd. They will not be available for pickup on Monday, May 2nd. (F)  T. Ledden

Seniors: if you have taken Business Academy courses but currently do not have a Business class, please see Mrs. Ledden in CS347 for a Rotary Scholarship application. (F & Tu) – T. Ledden

SCHOLARSHIP  INFORMATION

 

The Mitsui USA Foundation Scholarship has announced $5,000 scholarship for students who will be freshman in the Fall of 2022 and are attending the following universities: any school in the UT System, Austin Peay, ETSU, MTSU, TN State, TN Tech, University of Memphis.  Four scholarships will be awarded.  Eligibility guidelines, application materials and selection criteria are available in the iNews.  The application is due May 31st!   See Mrs. Thompson if you have any questions.
