We will be testing our semester long classes in U.S. History and Biology on Tuesday, December 9th and semester long Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry on December 11th.

It is time for FALL 2025 state testing . We will be testing our semester long classes in all levels of English 9 and English 10 on Tuesday, December 2nd and December 4th. The following week, we will test semester long U.S. History and Biology on Tuesday, December 9th and semester long Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry on December 11th.

FALL BALL TICKETS GO ON SALE TODAY! ORHS Student Council is hosting the very first Fall Ball! This semi formal dance will be hosted in the B-Gym from 6-9pm on Saturday, November 22nd. Tickets are available to all grades, and they can be purchased during lunch Nov 17-21. Tickets will not be available at the door. Cash or check can be used for purchase.

Seniors, the mandatory TN Promise meeting is scheduled in the ORHS auditorium at 2pm on 11/20/25. If you are not able to attend, please check student square or the class of 2026 canvas page for detailed instructions.

No Halloween costumes are permitted this week. Also, as the temperatures are falling, this is just a reminder students are not permitted to wear pajama pants to school. Students who are unable to secure of change of clothes will be sent to ISS.

FINANCIAL AID NIGHT - TUESDAY NIGHT Seniors and senior parents, please join us in the amphitheater to learn about the different types of financial aid available to the class of 2026 on October 21, 2025, from 5:30pm-6:30pm

We would remind parents again, students are required to protect their devices in their laptop cases at all times. If the device is damaged while unprotected, the family will be responsible for the full cost of the repair.. Our new devices were more expensive; therefore, the repairs are likely to be comparably more costly.

VOTE FOR THE HOMECOMING PRINCE AND PRINCESS Voting opens on September 19th in StudentSquare. StudentSquare app can be downloaded to your phone using the Microsoft login (Not Google) and entering your ORTN credentials. It is also accessible on your computer at parentsquare.com Use the same procedure to login as the app.

The Oak Ridge High School Student Council will continue the tradition of putting on a 9/11 Memorial Service at 8am on Thursday September 11th. Remarks from Student Council Executives and NJROTC leadership will be made along with a wreath laying ceremony and a time of honoring the First Responders in Oak Ridge's community. All community members are welcome to attend.
