Seniors, the mandatory TN Promise meeting is scheduled in the ORHS auditorium at 2pm on 11/20/25. If you are not able to attend, please check student square or the class of 2026 canvas page for detailed instructions.

NO SCHOOL TUESDAY! ORHS Student Council is hosting the very first Fall Ball! This semi formal dance will be hosted in the B-Gym from 6-9pm on Saturday, November 22nd. Tickets are available to all grades, and they can be purchased during lunch Nov 17-21. Tickets will not be available at the door. Cash or check can be used for purchase.

No Halloween costumes are permitted this week. Also, as the temperatures are falling, this is just a reminder students are not permitted to wear pajama pants to school. Students who are unable to secure of change of clothes will be sent to ISS.

FINANCIAL AID NIGHT - TUESDAY NIGHT Seniors and senior parents, please join us in the amphitheater to learn about the different types of financial aid available to the class of 2026 on October 21, 2025, from 5:30pm-6:30pm

We would remind parents again, students are required to protect their devices in their laptop cases at all times. If the device is damaged while unprotected, the family will be responsible for the full cost of the repair.. Our new devices were more expensive; therefore, the repairs are likely to be comparably more costly.

VOTE FOR THE HOMECOMING PRINCE AND PRINCESS Voting opens on September 19th in StudentSquare. StudentSquare app can be downloaded to your phone using the Microsoft login (Not Google) and entering your ORTN credentials. It is also accessible on your computer at parentsquare.com Use the same procedure to login as the app.

The Oak Ridge High School Student Council will continue the tradition of putting on a 9/11 Memorial Service at 8am on Thursday September 11th. Remarks from Student Council Executives and NJROTC leadership will be made along with a wreath laying ceremony and a time of honoring the First Responders in Oak Ridge's community. All community members are welcome to attend.

Seniors: Picture makeups/retakes are September 11 and September 12 in the B-gym. These will be for the cap/gown and formal poses only. You MUST signup to schedule your makeup or retake session by the end of day on September 9th.

This app can be downloaded to your phone OR accessed at www.parentsquare.com. From there, access the "Forms" from the left side bar. Forms are no longer sent on paper OR in Skyward.

FOOTBALL SEASON HAS ARRIVED! The Wildcats open THURSDAY night against the Halls Red Devils in a Rivalry Thursday game at BLANKENSHIP FIELD! Kickoff is at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $10.00 at the gate. (Buy your sports pass this week!)
