College Rep Visit this week!

All week, during 3A and 3B, the Library Advisory Board is taking over the library to drop personalized, top-tier book recommendations based on your exact vibe. Whether you need a love story, a new manga, a bleak biography, or just something to read during SSR, they’ve got you covered. Stop by during 3A or 3B, grab a recommendation, and find your next favorite read!

The Fall AP payment window will open on Tuesday, September 15^th and close on Friday, October 30^th at 11:59pm for all students currently enrolled in a fall or yearlong AP course.  If you begin your AP course in January, you will pay in the spring.  This year all AP exams are $102. The link to pay and register will be sent to all AP students via Parent/Student Square on September 15^th.

Masquers presents Sense and Sensibility by Kate Hamill tonight at 7pm in the ORHS Auditorium. Tickets are $10 at the door or online at orhsmasquers.booktix.com. Kate Hamill’s playful new adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved novel follows the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters. Set in gossipy late 18th-century England with a fresh female voice, the play is full of humor, emotional depth and bold theatricality. You don’t want to miss Sense and Sensibility – tonight or Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm.

Juniors & Seniors with off campus lunch: For lunch today at First United Methodist Church, we will be serving ravioli! The cost is $4; however, if you aren’t able to pay, we won’t turn you away. Come and get it!

CLUB INFO

Muslim Harmony Club is meeting today after school until 4pm in room CS333. Everyone is welcome.

HOSA- Our membership drive runs through Friday, September 18th. Be sure to turn in your club permission form & dues to Mrs. Wich or Ms. Lord.  Interested in competition?  There’s still time! Come see which event is right for you! The next meeting is on Wednesday, 9/16 at 2p in CS 200.

Are you a rock, country, indie, or pop musician looking to improve your skills and connect with other musicians? Join Rock Musicians of Oak Ridge!

Members will have the opportunity to: Learn more about their instruments, Meet like-minded musicians, Learn about producing and recording music,

And gain experience collaborating with other artists. Our first interest meeting will be held on Monday, September 14, at 3:15 p.m. in Mr. Cammack’s Room 314. For questions, email Logan Cammack.

German club is meeting on Monday September 14th right after school in Mrs. Nebenfuehr’s classroom.Everybody is welcome.  We will have cookies, games, music and discussions!

FCA will meet on Friday morning at 7:00 AM!!  We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) – directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school.  Doors open and refreshments begin at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately 7:10.  We will dismiss by 7:35.  All are welcome!!!  If you have any questions, contact Coach McKeethan (football/baseball coach).
