The Branch’s Education Committee is sponsoring a Black History Month Contest for Oak Ridge and Clinton Schools. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. 1st place Winners $150, 2nd Place Winners $100, and 3rd Place Winners, $75. More information can be found in this week’s Wildcat iNews.  S. Students- do you love food but don’t know how to make it?

For those who have been asking to create a club to learn how to cook, please come to an interest meeting in the cafeteria TODAY, Wednesday, March 8 from 2-3 p.m. We will be working with Chef Eric and Dr. Holly Cross to determine the times, scope, and curriculum needed to create such a club!  H. SENIOR INFO

 

Seniors: The time has come to select speakers for the ORHS Class of 2023 Graduation and Convocation ceremonies.  Tryouts will be virtual this year. For specific information about how to audition, please visit the Class of 2023 Canvas page and find the announcement regarding tryouts. The deadline to upload a submission is April 7 at 3:00 p.m.  G. We are finishing the term off with some great college visits! Thursday, March 9th Lenoir-Rhyne will be in the Counseling Office after school.  And we’ll end the week with Mr. Hawkins’ alma mater, Tennessee State University in the main lobby during lunch.  Don’t miss out on these opportunities!  A. It’s not too late to get your Student Athletic Pass – the price is now $45.  This will get you in to any home regular season event for all Spring sports.   Get your SAP ASAP in the Main Office.
