Be one of the first 100 students at the Walk of Champions tonight @ Blankenship Field and the game is free! ! ! !  GEM Technologies is providing free tickets to the first 100 students beginning @ 6:00.  Come support the Wildcats as they take on the Bearden Bulldogs.  Kick-off is @ 7:30.

 

Do you want to be the next Dr. Dre?  Or maybe DJ Khaled?  Well, the makerspace in the library has just thing for you.  Come down during 3A on Tuesdays or 3b on Thursdays to learn to use our Ableton software.  Remember to have a pass if you’re coming from study hall and bring your badge to sign in.  Before you know it you’ll be laying down some truly sick beats! On Monday, August 30th Masquers will have Auditions for CLUE! If you are interested in auditioning, please pick up audition forms from Mr. Moreno. You must have signed forms to audition. Auditions will start right after school on Monday. (Tu, Th,F) – V. Moreno

Applications are now being accepted for the 21-22 ASAP Youth Ambassador Coalition cohort.  An ideal Ambassador candidate is someone who wants to make a difference in their community by preventing and reducing substance misuse, gain leadership skills and experience, receive community service hours, and have fun!  Apply online at ASAPofAnderson.org by September 3rd.  (9/2) – A. What is philosophy? Join us at Philosophy Club after school Friday until 4 PM in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) to find out! After an overview of the various fields within philosophy, we will brainstorm topics for this year’s discussions. New members are welcome! (F) – A. Pickering

COUNSELING INFORMATION

 

ORHS is happy to announce we will be able to host college representative visits both virtually and in person this year!!  We will announce visits in the Daily Bulletin and in the iNews.  We have our first in-person visit scheduled for Tuesday, August 31st at 3:15pm in the Counseling Office. A representative from Savannah College of Art and Design will be here to answer your questions about their school.  No sign up is necessary for in-person visits.  (8/6-8/31 MWF) – A.
