CLUB & ORGANIZATION INFO

Small Talk is a club that is sponsored by Dr. Colquitt and addresses real issues that you will face after high school. Last year, we had ORHS graduates come in and talk to us about college life, living on a college campus, choosing a major, and how to manage your time. We also took field trips to visit the campuses of Roane State, Pellissippi State, UT-Knoxville, and East Tennessee State University. We made our own resume and discussed ways to prepare for the ACT. If you are interested in participating in the Small Talk club, please stop by Dr. Colquitt’s classroom, CS 235, to let her know which day of the week would work best with your schedule. Our first official meeting will be scheduled based on the responses.  (8/7, 8/10) – R. Colquitt

If you enjoy watching anime or would like to learn more about it, then check out the ORHS Anime club! We meet every Thursday from 3:15 to 4:15 PM in CS 320 – Ms. Lintz’s room.  Come join us, meet new friends, and share anime with like-minded students.   (8/7-8/10) – H. Lintz

All students interested in joining IRC , International Relations Club, should join us in Mrs. Bauman’s room, LC 318 on Thursday, August 10th immediately after school.   We will begin planning for Fall Simulations and fund raising activities to fund our Trip to Washington, D.C. in February.   Join us for stimulating activities and fun with your peers.
