Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS – ORHS students have the opportunity to get a FREE sports physical. This event takes place this SUNDAY, May 7 in the Wildcat Arena from 1:00 – 3:00.  All students who are planning on participating in ANY ORHS athletic team, MUST have a CURRENT (dated after 4/15/17) to be able to participate in the program. Attention AP testers: Please be sure to bring a blue or black ball point pen, a couple #2 pencils, a calculator if your test permits it, and your ORHS badge to each test you are taking. You must present photo id to test. Don’t forget to arrive 30 minutes before testing time and leave your cell phones and/or smart watches in your car or at home. The City YAB is hosting a free Field Day on 5/5 (May 5) at 5:55 pm at Yearwood Park. Attendees will play ultimate Frisbee, kickball, and other fun games. Three lucky attendees will also win a great door prize! The event will conclude with a color powder party so wear old, white clothing and consider bringing a change of clothes. CLUB & ORGANIZATION INFO

Key Club will hold elections for next year’s officers on Tuesday, May 2. All members should participate in this important meeting. (M) – B. Jernigan

National Honor Society will hold their final meeting for Seniors on Monday, May 1st at 3:15 in LC-327. All members are expected to attend. Please see Madame Bailey in LC-304 to explain conflicts. (M 5.1) – L. Bailey

THIS WEEK – ORHS ATHLETICS

This evening will be Coach Marianne Johnson Appreciation Night at the OR vs Concord Christian Softball Game – Coach Johnson served student athletes from 1985 – 2016. Enjoy a night of memories with Coach Johnson and the Pink-Out Night. Festivities start @ 4:30 with game time @ 5:00.
