Any junior interested in Work-Based Learning next year in the areas of Business, Information Technology, STEM, or Welding should make plans to attend the WBL meeting after school Thursday, March 7, in CS347. The job placement search will begin this spring for positions starting at the beginning of the 24-25 school year. It will be much more difficult to find positions after the beginning of the school year. If you want to secure a paid WBL position, start now by attending this meeting.  T. Ledden

Seniors: The time has come to select speakers for the ORHS Class of 2024 Graduation and Convocation ceremonies.  Tryouts will be virtual this year. For specific information about how to audition, please visit the Class of 2024 Canvas page and find the announcement regarding tryouts. The deadline to upload a submission is April 5 at 3:00 p.m.  G. Roane State has cancelled the Resume Workshop that was scheduled for tomorrow, March 5th at the public library.  A. O’Rourke

 

The P.E.O. Chapter R Scholarship – Women Advancing Women Scholarship  is now accepting applications.  This is a scholarship for female high school seniors accepted into an accredited four-year college or university within the United States showing evidence of leadership, community, and school involvement.  Applications can be picked up in the Counseling Office.  The deadline to apply is March 29th.  A.
