STUDENT INFO

Winter Formal ticket sales are happening now! Tickets are $20 each and available at the top of the cafeteria during lunch. You can also use this time to donate to your favorite Snow Court candidate. All proceeds will go to Second Harvest and pair who raises the most money will be crowned Snow King and Queen. A. Wagner

Attention Junior Health Science students: Applications are now being accepted for next year’s Clinical Internship program and the Nursing Education course. If you are interested in applying for the Clinical Internship program, please see Mrs. Minarik to get an application – room CS200. If you are interested in applying for Nursing Ed. for the fall, please see Mrs. Pointer to pick up an application – room CS201. To be considered for either, you must have completed all required courses. Applications will NOT be accepted after Friday, February 9. S. Minarik

Don’t forget, between now and January 31, 2024, Oak Ridge students can submit artwork for ORNL Federal Credit Union’s Community Art & Mural Program competition. The competition allows for local school students to submit artwork for a chance to not only have their design recreated on a large scale, public platform, but to win a $100 cash prize for the student (or team) and a $500 cash prize for their school’s art programs. The subject matter for the mural should capture the idea of “new beginnings.” ( S. Thompson

Are you a high school student looking to make the world or your community a better place?  Do you plan to attend an HBCU next year?  Do you have an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math?  If you answered yes, you should apply for the FOSSI Scholarship!  The deadline for this $40,000 scholarship is January 31st.  Stop by the Counseling Office for details, or go to futureofstemscholars.org to apply. ATHLETICS
