Masquers is recruiting for all of our technical positions. If you are interested in learning to run the light board, a spotlight, audio and other sound elements, to build sets, to run deck crew for a show, to fly curtains and set pieces on and off stage, or to create props used to bring the show alive, we need you. Please pick up a permission slip from the Masquers office door down by the auditorium or contact Mr. Lloyd @ malloyd@ortn.edu or Amber Latham @ lathaamb000@ortn.edu and come join us after school on Wednesday backstage. LAST DAY! Students, would you like to choose which teachers get the honor of Most Athletic, Most Likely to Assign Homework Over the Weekend, or Best Teacher? If so, please vote for one male and one female teacher in each category to be featured in the yearbook.  Voting will take place January 3rd at 7:50 through January 5th at 3:07, and you will find a link in Skyward to the Google Form. CLUB INFO

If you are going on either of our ski trips this year, please attend a brief meeting immediately after school in LC 217 on Wednesday January 10th. If you are not able to attend, keep an eye out for a meeting summary on the ORHS Ski and Snowboard Club Remind. J. Strating

SENIOR INFO

 

Attention All Seniors: There is a mandatory TNPromise meeting on January 9th at 3:40 pm in the Food Court.  In order to keep your TnPromise scholarship, seniors must attend this meeting.  Please allow time to “sign in” before the meeting begins. H. Foster & S. Thompson

Seniors, now is the time to submit your senior quotes and memories for the yearbook. From January 8 through January 19 at 3:07, you may use the Skyward link to submit your senior quotes and memories. The word limit for each is 80 words and remember that any and all quotes and memories are subject to exclusion based on decency, content, and school appropriateness. Should your quote be determined to be inappropriate, you will NOT be notified and given the opportunity to resubmit, so please make sure it is in good taste and appropriate the FIRST time you enter it. Any quotes that are not from individual seniors must be credited to the authors of the quotes. After the deadline, no more submissions will be accepted. R. Hale

 

ATHLETICS
