Homecoming Dance – The Homecoming Dance is this Saturday, October 21st from 6-9 at the DoubleTree Hotel. Don’t forget to buy your Homecoming Tickets in the lobby during lunch this week. No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are $20. (W,Th,F 10/20) P. Taylor
Class Rings and Graduation Supplies: Jostens will take orders for both in the Main Lobby and the Arena Concessions’ Kiosk on Wednesday, October 25, during lunch only. Please turn in your order to the Jostens representative at either location during 3rd period lunch. Any student needing a class ring or graduation supplies packet should see Mrs. Ledden in CS347 or pick up from the Main Office. $60 deposit required for both graduation supply orders and class ring orders. Howdy and happy Hoedown Day! Student Council has loved seeing your spirit day outfits so far and we’re so excited to pick today’s Barbie and Ken winner! Let’s keep the celebrations going TONIGHT from 6-8pm at the front of the school at our first ever Hoedown Throwdown! COUNSELING INFO
Have you ever thought about going to college overseas? Aberystwyth University is located on the ocean in Wales in Great Britain. They offer three-year bachelor’s degrees in 18 subjects, including computer, human and environmental sciences, humanities, the arts, and International Relations. If you are interested in having an exciting and affordable college experience, traveling abroad, and studying at an award-winning 150-year-old university, come and speak with their representative, who will be in the library classroom during lunch on Thursday. The University of Alabama’s Free App Week, is happening now! During Free App Week, students will have until 11:59 p.m. CDT on Friday, October 20 to complete their application via the UA Undergraduate app. Applications submitted via the Common App will continue to require a $40 application fee during this week.
