Sessions will be from 8-11 a.m. on Monday Oct. 2 through Thursday Oct. 5. Each day will focus on a different section of the test. Tips and strategies will be discussed, and students will have a chance to take a practice test and have specific questions answered. This opportunity is free, but transportation will not be provided. A link to the sign-up form will be posted on each class Canvas page, and it will also be sent out in Skyward. Please sign up by Tuesday, Sept. 26. From Principal Hawkins:  Central Baptist has emailed about our students’ misuse of their parking lot.  There is trash being dumped and students speeding through the parking lot, which presents a safety hazard.  They are also concerned with the number of students entering the wooded area behind their facility and the Highland View church during lunch and after school.

Central Baptist has a long-standing relationship with ORHS and allows our students and staff to park on their campus.  If their property continues to be disrespected by our students, they will no longer allow students and staff to park there.  We are responsible for being good neighbors and taking care of their property as if it were our own.  Please do not cause our school to have this privilege taken away.  D. Hawkins

International Friends will be sponsoring a school-wide supply drive throughout the month of September to collect school supplies for students in the communities of El Progreso, Lima, and Santa Rita, Honduras.  Specific items needed in these communities are backpacks, kid-sized scissors, colored pencils, glue sticks, handheld pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, and reusable water bottles.  You can drop off your donations with Mrs. Long (LC 335), Dr. Moulden (LC 333), Mrs. Golden (CS 300), or any International Friend club member.  J. Golden

Seniors: Encourage your artist friends to submit designs for the Class of 2024 Senior Shirt to Mrs. Ledden in Room CS347 by Thursday, September 21. You do not have to be a senior to submit designs for the shirt—open to all grade levels. We need a front shirt design and a back shirt design. Prizes:  Front – $25; Back – $25. (That’s $50 if you win both!)  Be sure to incorporate ORHS, Seniors, and Class of 2024 into your drawings. See Mrs. Ledden if you would like to see designs from previous years. T. Ledden
