Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

Have you ever been concerned about hackers or wondered how to defend computers against evildoers and viruses? The NJROTC CyberPatriot Team will be hosting cybersecurity training this summer. This is an opportunity to get hands-on experience and learn from local cybersecurity experts. No prior experience needed, just a desire to learn. For more info reach out to Chief Nicholls at or visit the NJROTC classroom, PA139. R. Nicholls

All middle college, senior, and underclassmen yearbooks that have not been retrieved by the end of the school day on Wednesday, May 31, will be stored over the summer and not available for summer pickup. Students may come to CS328 again once school resumes in the fall to pick up any books that have been ordered and not retrieved yet.  R. Hale

Today is the last day to sign up for the FREE THEATRE WORKSHOP sponsored by Masquers. The Workshop is from 1-5pm on June 5th-9th in the ORHS Auditorium. Click the link in the iNews or Masquers Newsletter or scan the QR code on the flyer by the Auditorium to sign up!  T. Lloyd

The Driving Center is now registering for summer, fall and winter break classes.  Driver Education classes include 30 hours of classroom instruction, along with six individual driving lessons.  Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate, which often reduces car insurance by as much as 25%.  Courses are taught in a fun and engaging way here in Oak Ridge at 130 Bus Terminal Road.  Visit for details or call 865-482-6700. T. Seals

Philosophy Club will not meet TODAY, Fri. 5/26.  Have a reflective summer and we hope to see you in the fall! A. Pickering

Our local FIRST robotics team, the Secret City Wildbots meets at the back of the G-Building from 6-9pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. They meet all year long (even during the summer). This is a wonderful opportunity to get hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, design, machining, arts and business. They are willing to train you to do anything you are interested in and will be happy to see you grow.  If you have any questions, please email Dr. Buckner at or find someone with a 4265 shirt for more info.  M. Buckner

The ACT Student Score Reports from the April (in school) ACT exam have arrived.  If you took that exam, you can pick up your score report from Ms. O’Rourke in the Counseling Office.
