The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is performing this Friday, March 3rd at 7pm, Saturday, March 4th at 2pm and 7pm, and Sunday March 5th at 2pm. All tickets are $10. And if you are a real Percy Jackson fan, sign up for the Camp Half-Blood event on Saturday at 5:30. Attention AP Research Students! Final preparation for uploading papers and presentations will begin TODAY, THURSDAY, March 2nd at lunch in Ms. Hondorf’s room. Bring your lunch and be prepared to give peer feedback and practice your presentations! We will meet every Thursday between now and the Presentation date, April 13th!  E. Hondorf

Students- do you love food but don’t know how to make it?

For those who have been asking to create a club to learn how to cook, please come to an interest meeting in the cafeteria on Wednesday, March 8 from 2-3 p.m. We will be working with Chef Eric and Dr. Holly Cross to determine the times, scope, and curriculum needed to create such a club!  H. AP Exam payments will be taken THIS WEEK ONLY during lunch in the Main Lobby.  This is your final window to pay for your exams from the Fall as well as order exams for your Spring semester AP courses. As a reminder, each exam is $97.  Seminar and Research exams are $145 each.  T. Seals

Have you always wanted to play on a Boys Volleyball team? If so, you’ve got a one-day-only chance! The PowderPuff Volleyball tournament will take place on Friday April 21st.  If you’re interested, get a form from Mr. Kolodney in CS 213 and return it to him with your $20.  Only the first 20 boys from each grade to sign up get to play! Get your forms turned in by March 13th to guarantee a t-shirt.  The final deadline is April 10th.  T. Seals

CLUB INFO

 

Join Philosophy Club after school Friday in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) for a discussion on experts and intellectuals in American society and public policy.  A. Pickering

There will be no Fellowship of Christian Athletes on this Friday, March 3rd, but FCA will meet back at Providence House on Friday morning, March 10, right before Spring Break.  T. Froning

Seniors: graduation supplies will be distributed on Thursday, April 6. In order to receive your supplies on this date, the balance must be paid in full. You may pay on that date, or you may call Jostens at 423-787-0025 to pay with a card over the phone. Please see Mrs. Ledden in CS347 if you have questions. T. Ledden

 

ATHLETICS

 

It’s not too late to get your Student Athletic Pass – the price is now $45.  This will get you in to any home regular season event for Basketball and all Spring sports.   Get your SAP ASAP in the Main Office.
