Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

 

STUDENT INFO

 

HOSA will be selling socks all next week in the morning before school by the library. Socks are 5 dollars each. Come check them out! (F,M,W,Th) S. Minarik

 

Students must exit the building by 3:30 each day unless they are directly involved in a school activity. Any students who are in the building after school must be supervised by a sponsor or a coach at all times. Make transportation arrangements accordingly because you will not be allowed to loiter in the building after 3:30 each day. (Th,F,M) B. Estep

 

AP EXAMS – It is that time of year again!  If you are currently enrolled in an AP course, we will be taking payments for AP exams during lunch in the lobby from October 31-November 4th.  This order window is only for students who currently have an AP class.  If you have an AP course that begins in January, you will pay for and order those exams during the Spring Semester.

*This year AP exams are $97/exam.  AP Seminar and Research exams are $145/exam.  If you are taking more than three exams, your fourth and subsequent exams will be $40/exam.  If you qualify for free or reduced lunch your exams are $15/exam.

*Please make checks payable to Oak Ridge High School and put your name on the memo line of the check.

Liar, liar, pants on fire? Join Philosophy Club TODAY after school in Mr. Pickering’s classroom (LC322) for a discussion on the ethics of lying and deception. (Th,F) A. Pickering

Do you wanna be in Masquers? Come join us for an informational meeting on Monday, November 8th right after school in the auditorium! We will talk about the Showcase, the Spring Musical “The Lightning Thief: A Percy Jackson Musical,” Improv, and our Atomic Acts Performance! We will also talk about what is involved in auditioning for the musical and pass out audition music and forms. So come join us on Monday, November 8th right after school in the auditorium! (F,M) T. Interact will hold their next meeting Monday, November 7 in the amphitheater.  We will meet right after school until 4pm.  If you’re still looking for a club to join, we are always accepting new members.  We will be working on two different service projects during this meeting. (W,F,M) A. King

Seniors: if are planning to borrow a cap & gown, you may only borrow from a senior who graduated last year (2022). These are the new customized gowns. (F,M,W,F) T. Ledden
