STUDENT INFO

 

Basketball & Swim Season begins November 18.   Do you have your Student Athletic Pass?  For only $45 you can watch every regular season home event for the rest of the year. This includes the Spring sports:  Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Track & Tennis. You can purchase your pass in the Main Office.  (Tu, Th 11.23) T. Seals

 

2022 Mandatory Track Team Meeting will be Monday 11/15 in LC 326 at 3:30.  We will discuss the new facility, procedures, schedule, and expectations for the upcoming season.  Anyone not signed up yet needs to see Coach Sauer in LC 308. (M,W,F) – T. Sauer

 

The Fall Play “Clue” premieres tomorrow!  Do you have your tickets for this hilarious comedy?  Shows are Nov 11-14:  Thursday at 7, Saturday at 7, and Sunday at 2.  Tickets will be available at the door for $7 for students and $8 for adults. Jostens will return to the Main Lobby and Arena Concessions’ Kiosk on Thursday, November 18, during lunch to collect orders for class rings. The City of Oak Ridge Youth Advisory Board is hosting a Jobs Fair for Students TODAY, November 10th, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the ORHS Food Court.  The event will introduce students to possible job opportunities just in time to make some money before the holidays.  For questions, contact Leah Riley at the Civic Center Front Desk at 865-425-3450.”  (M,W,F – 11.10)  M. Calling all FCCLA members come join us this Friday, November 12th in Mrs. Sparks room (CS 250) for our very first FCCLA meeting. We will be providing breakfast. Please make sure to RSVP by Thursday morning through our website or our Instagram. (F) – B. Sparks

 

The ORHS Key Club will meet on Thursday, November 11 @ 3:15 in Mr. Schoolcraft’s room, LC224. New members are always welcome to join! We will be discussing community service projects for November and December. (11/3-11/11) – J. Schoolcraft

Seniors: go to the Class of 2022 Page in Canvas, and submit your signature for the senior shirt by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 12. (M,-Th) – T. Ledden

 

Seniors: turn in senior signature shirt/sweat orders during lunch at the Arena Concessions’ Kiosk. Cash or check made payable to ORHS. You may also give your order to Mrs. Ledden in CS347. (11/9, 11/10, 11/11) – T. Ledden

 

 

Attention Sophomores or Juniors interested in attending Governor’s School for the Arts 2022:

The TN Governor’s School for the Arts will be held June 4th, 2022 – June 25th, 2022 at Middle TN State University

Guidelines and instructions on how to apply have been sent to your school email and posted on Skyward. You must follow the guidelines set by ORHS when applying. ORHS has different deadlines than the actual Governor’s School. Information about Governor’s Schools other than Arts will be distributed in the near future.
