The first School Wide Student Council meeting of the year will be Thursday Sept 2nd during 4th period. If you have been chosen to represent your class please report directly to the amphitheater with your concern form at the beginning of class. All students are responsible for work or materials missed during this meeting. (W) – A. Wagner

 

Applications are now being accepted for the 21-22 ASAP Youth Ambassador Coalition cohort.  An ideal Ambassador candidate is someone who wants to make a difference in their community by preventing and reducing substance misuse, gain leadership skills and experience, receive community service hours, and have fun!  Apply online at ASAPofAnderson.org by September 3rd.  (9/2) – A. Bonjour! The French Club-Le Cercle Français-is starting up again! Our next meeting will be  Thursday September 2nd from 3:15-4 in LC304. We’ll get to know each other and work on other club details. Senior Information

 

Attention Seniors-you have the opportunity to pay $50 and claim a parking spot that is your own through the duration of the school year. You will then customize your spot. This means you will have your own parking spot for the entire school year customized by you!

If you want to personalize and reserve a parking space you have until Thursday, September 9th to turn in the application and money to the ORHS cheerleaders. Please stop by the arena after school on Tuesdays or Thursdays to see a cheerleader, or check the iNEWS for a link to the sign up form and Venmo information.   (M,W,F) – B. Estep

 

Seniors, are you interested in the University of Virginia?  The Jefferson Scholarship provides the entire cost of attendance, and many supplemental enrichment experiences, at the University of Virginia.  If you are interested to be ORHS’s nominee for this scholarship submit a resume and a personal statement as to why you should be chosen to Ms. Taylor by Friday, October 29th.
