Philosophy Club is back! Join us in LC322 (Mr. Pickering’s room) after school on Friday until 4 PM for a discussion on gun control. Everyone is welcome. (4/8-4/9) – A. Pickering

Come join us on Friday, April 16th at 8pm for Atomic Acts in the Auditorium! Atomic Acts is a night of hilarious improv and comedic and dramatic scenes performed by 12 of our amazing Masquers! These students will perform scenes from Broadway plays. They will entertain you with “Who’s Line Is It Anyways?” style short improv that will be sure to keep you guessing and laughing You get to see this dozen perform for free! Donations will be accepted, and COVID-19 protocols will be followed with social distanced seating and the wearing of masks. (4/7-4/9) – V. Moreno

Juniors wanting to join the ORHS chapter of the National Honor Society for the 2021-2022 school year should pick up a Verification of Interest form in the Media Center starting Thursday, April 8th. You must have a 3.6 GPA and a clean discipline record, and you must turn the form back in to Ms. Milloway in the library by Monday, April 19th. (4/7-4/8) – K. Senter

Prom Ticket Sales- Enchanted Lights, Prom 2021, will take place on May 8th in the Wildcat Arena from 7:30pm-11:30pm. Ticket Pre-orders will be sold during 5th period lunch in the Kiosk in the Wildcat Arena Lobby on April 6th-8th and April 13th-15th. The Pre-order tickets cost will be $30 for Singles and $60 for Couples. Ticket sales will take place on May 3rd-5th with the cost of $40 for Singles and $80 for couples. No tickets will be sold at the door

Prom Guests- Is your date for Prom not a current ORHS student? If so you need to fill out a Guest Application. You can find the forms in Ms. Eidam’s room LC313 or in Student Services. (T,Th – 5/7) – S. Eidam

IRC ( International Relations Club) will meet on Thursday from 3 – 4:00 in LC 326. The club will begin global simulations, debate, and create resolutions to simulation the United Nations experiences. (4/7-4/8) – B. Bauman

Senior Information

Seniors: pick up your graduation supplies today during lunch in CS347.

Seniors: Tryouts for Graduation and Convocation speakers will occur virtually this year. In order to participate, you will need to join the Canvas course called “Graduation Speaker Tryouts 2021.” The link to join the course will be emailed to all seniors on March 8 through school email. Once you enroll in the Canvas course, you will find an “assignment” for graduation and convocation speaker tryouts. Instructions on how to participate in tryouts, as well as helpful tips and suggestions, are also included in the assignment. The deadline to upload your video is April 9th at 3:00 P.M. A representative from St. John’s College (located in Santa Fe, NM) will host a virtual college visit on April 12th at 3:15pm.
