STUDENT INFO

ORCHESTRA Concert tonight  –  7:00 p.m.

 

Lost and Found- If you have lost any items during the 2nd nine-week term, please come to the Attendance Office and check the lost and found.  Items will be donated during the Winter Break. (Tu, Th – 12.19) – C. Rhinehart

 

SF1010- Any student going to take their permit test during the Winter Break will need a SF1010 form from the Attendance office.  Please get the form before you leave for break. (Tu, Th – 12.19) – C. Rhinehart

Interested in applying to highly selective colleges across the nation?  Want to know what life is really like at these schools beyond the rankings? Former ORHS students will be in the AMPHITHEATER on Thursday, December 19th from 4:30 – 5:30, and they want to have an open conversation about their experiences in college so far. Some of the schools represented include Stanford, Columbia, Northeastern, and Northwestern.If interested, come with a curious and open mind to ask anything you’d like to know.

 

NHS Tutoring: It’s not too late! You have one more chance at NHS Tutoring in the Counseling Center between 3:15-3:50 on Thursday. Patricia Anguiano and Susan Dale will be on duty and ready to help.(Th) – A. Etheridge

 

Calling all crafty kids.  The holidays are expensive but not when you DIY holiday crafts or a gift for your favorite person!  Come by the makerspace in the library as quickly as you can to get started – supplies are running out! (12/17 – 12/19) – C. Milloway

 

CLUB INFO

 

Ski and snowboard season is here and the Ski Club has a trip planned to Winterplace, WV the first Saturday of the semester.  Money can be turned in later, but turn forms in now so we know how many to expect.  We need at least 25 people to sign up – so if you want to go, help by recruiting others and remind your friends to turn their stuff in.  See Ms. Stevens or Ms. Sobek for details. The YuGi-Oh! Club will meet in Dr. Colquitt’s room, CS 235, on Friday until 5:00 pm. Please note that we will leave at 5:00, not 6:00. (12/17, 12/19,12/20) – R. Colquitt
