Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

 

Everyone loves books.  Kids love to read them.  Dogs love to chew on them.  Even teachers love them – and not just boring textbooks!  Swing by the library to see some of your teachers’ favorite non-textbook books on display now.  You can even check them out to enjoy yourself! (Th) – C. Milloway

Students: Make up days for registration for next year’s classes will be this Thursday and Friday. If you did not bring your registration form back SIGNED BY YOUR PARENT, please have that completed and with you here at school to be registered either this Thursday or Friday. (Th) – K. Rowland

 

The Driving Center will be hosting two Driver Education Classes over Spring Intercession.  The first is March 11th and the second is March 18th.  Please check their website at thedrivingcenter.org for information and registration (Tu, Th – 3.7) – T. Seals

 

If you are interested in attending this year’s Introduce a Girl to Engineering program at Y-12, stop by student services to pick up a permission form. The trip is Thursday, February 21, from 8:30 to 12:00. Return your permission form to student services by February 19. Space is limited and you must be in good standing to attend. Any student who has registered for The Business Academy Co-op and/or Virtual Enterprise class for 2019-2020 must attend a mandatory meeting in order to participate in either or both programs. Students should choose either the Tuesday, March 5, or Thursday, March 7, meeting to attend. The meeting will begin at 3:15 and will last until 4:00 p.m. and will be held in CS347. CLUB INFO

 

The FBLA Club will be raising money for The March of Dimes during the week of February 18th -22nd. The March Of Dimes began in 1938 to help all moms and babies have the best care and health possible. The homeroom that donates the most money will win a Chick-Fil-A breakfast for the entire class. Please donate to this amazing cause. (M) – C. Stalliard

House Method’s is opening of the second annual House Method scholarship, which awards $1,000 toward the education of a student committed to bettering our lives in our homes. The deadline is October 15, 2019.
