National Honor Society will provide three free tutors twice a week for the rest of this semester to meet your academic needs. Come from 3:15 to 3:50 Tuesday in the Counselling Center to receive help from Lesly Chavez, Caroline Benton, and Audrey Bufton.     (Tu) – K. Senter

Jostens will return only once more this year to collect orders for graduation supplies and class rings. They will be located in the Main Lobby during lunch only on Thursday, December 6. Seniors who have not ordered should turn in their orders on this date. After December 6, orders may be mailed to Jostens, phoned in, or ordered online. The final date to place an on-time order and avoid increased prices (double) is Monday, December 10, 2018. Contact information follows:

CLUB INFO

 

There will be a meeting for all students interested in Ski Club Thursday, December 6th, after school in Ms. Sobek’s room LC 217.  We will discuss all upcoming trips and costs.  Anyone who wishes to go skiing this year should plan to attend.  (Th) – C. Stevens

 

The meeting for students involved in La Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica during the last three years has been rescheduled for TODAY,  December 4 @ 3:15 . East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) is happy to announce that ETF 2019 Scholarship Applications will be available on our website, www.etf.org/scholarships, beginning November 1, 2018.  All ETF scholarship applications must be completed and submitted online. The application deadline for 2019 scholarships is February 15, 2019. (Tu – 2.15)  A. Morris

 

ATHLETICS THIS WEEK

 

Students and their parents interested in learning more about the ORHS tennis program should attend one of two December meetings. Both meetings will share identical information for students and parents and both meetings will be held in our Amphitheater. The coaches will share their plans for the 2019 season on Tuesday December 4th from 4-5:00 and Thursday December 6th from 6-7:00. (Tu) – D. Bowman
