Students planning to take a Dual Enrollment course in French, Spanish, Statistics, Pre-Calculus or Geology at ORHS next fall or who plan to access the Middle College program through Roane State next fall MUST take the ACT or SAT. Our last test at ORHS that will count for Dual Enrollment purposes for fall 2018 is Saturday, June 9th and the deadline to register is next Friday, May 4th. The next SAT will be in Knoxville on Saturday, June 2nd with a deadline of Thursday, May 3rd. Students may also call Roane State and sign up for a “residual” ACT which cost $40 and the score is ONLY GOOD for Roane State. It can’t be transferred to other colleges/universities nor can an ACT fee waiver (if applicable) be used to pay for the residual test. (4/25-4/26) – K. Rowland
