Car Rider Arrival and Dismissal Reminders

Arrival

Parking Lot

  • NEVER allow your child to exit your car without your assistance. Please hold your child’s hand at all times in the parking lot.
  • Please be courteous of where you park.

Car Rider Loop

  • Never leave your car unattended in the bus/car loop.
  • No child should enter the school without an adult holding his/her hand. Classrooms will open at 7:45 am. After 8:15 am students are TARDY. Staff must return to their classrooms promptly at 8:15.
  • NEVER allow your child to exit your car without your assistance.
  • Please review the Tennessee seat belt laws located on the bottom of this page.

Dismissal

Parking Lot & Bus Riders

  • If you walk up to the building, we ask that you remain on the porch while a staff member brings your child to you.
  • Bus Riders: Please call before 1:00 (11:00 on Wednesday/short days) for dismissal transportation changes.

Car Rider Loop

  • Never leave your car unattended in the bus/car loop.
  • A staff member will bring your child to you. Please do not leave your car parked in the loop and walk to the porch.
  • Your child must have a car seat, and it must be in the required position by the State of Tennessee Car Seat Law. If you need assistance with obtaining a car seat, contact Family Services at 865-425-9122.

Please do not have pets in your car. Staff are not familiar with your pets and this is an issue of safety for Preschool staff.

Smoking is prohibited on school grounds. This includes the car rider loop and parking lots.
