Social Emotional Learning
Our district has adopted the Purposefull People Character Strong Curriculum to address social-emotional learning within our classrooms. This curriculum has 3 primary focuses: Be Kind, Be Strong, Be Well.
Be Strong: Centers around building social skills and addresses the character traits of respect, empathy, and cooperation.
Be Kind: Focuses on equipping students with executive functioning skills and addresses the character traits of responsibility, perseverance, and courage
Be Well: Focuses on building self-awareness and emotion regulation and addresses the character traits of gratitude, honesty, and creativity.’
