Our district has adopted the Purposefull People Character Strong Curriculum to address social-emotional learning within our classrooms. This curriculum has 3 primary focuses: Be Kind, Be Strong, Be Well.
Each month we focus on a specific character trait. August’s trait was Respect. All month, we’ve been learning about how Respect is “seeing value in all people and things & treating them with care.” Throughout this month, we’ve watched so many Woodland students showing Respect to their teachers and peers.
We were so excited to honor 1 student from each class this week for showing Respect in so many ways!
And a special “Thank you!” to our special area teachers for organizing our Purposefull People awards!
