New Administrative Assistant, Jason Nussbaum

I am thrilled to be a member of the Willow Brook family and community! I have been in education for over 20 years, and I am excited to be a part of the amazing things taking place at WBES.

My teaching career began in 2002 at an elementary school in Knox County.  Leaving for Oak Ridge Schools in 2006, I made the shift to middle school as a fifth-grade teacher and coach. Over the last 16 years I have served in many different roles at both Oak Ridge middle schools. Becoming a member of the administrative team at Willow Brook is an exciting next chapter in my career, and I am enthusiastic to be a part of something special.

I believe that all children deserve an excellent education, filled with opportunities to experience the fullness of what life can bring. As educators, we are charged with the task of doing our best to make this happen.

My family includes my wife, Randi, of 25 years; children: Chloe (22), Jakob (20), Keagan (17), and Isaak (16). We made the physical move to Oak Ridge in 2007 so that our children could attend this school district. It has been a blessing for our family to be a part of the Oak Ridge community and look forward to many more years.
