Mrs. Laurendine Officially Appointed Principal of WB!!

Oak Ridge Schools Superintendent Dr. Bruce Borchers announced that Mrs. Jenifer Laurendine has been officially appointed as the principal of Willow Brook Elementary School.

Mrs. Laurendine has served in the role of interim principal since August 23, 2021 and has demonstrated excellent leadership and service for our students and staff at Willow Brook. Prior to being principal at Willow Brook, Jen was an assistant principal at Jefferson Middle School and the coordinator of school health for the district.

Mrs. Laurendine holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications, a Master’s in Health, Physical Education & Recreation, as well as an E.Ds. in Instructional Leadership. She has been married to her husband Mike (Big Cat) for 16 years. They and their daughter, Hayven (13), have lived in Oak Ridge for 16 years. Jen loves spending time with family and watching her daughter play soccer. She is a future Board Member for the Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge.
