Impact Aid is a federal formula grant program designed to assist local school districts that enroll federally-connected students.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Who are our federally-connected students?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Federally-connected students are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> children of active duty uniformed services personnel, <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">children who live on federal property or in subsidized federal housing, and <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">children whose parents are employed on eligible federal properties.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How can I help?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We need your assistance in identifying students with federal connections to ensure that ORS can obtain its fair share of funds from this program. Please complete, sign and date the Student-Parent Survey for Federal Impact Aid (which is under your parent portal in Skyward) for each school-aged student in your household, with information that is applicable as of\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">October 19, 2020.
