Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Calling all students! Do you want to help plan prom? 🎉 Applications for the prom board are now open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors! Come by Mrs. Royster’s room anytime to pick up an application. Let’s start planning next year’s unforgettable prom together!

The tradition continues. It’s time for the Senior Shirt Design Contest—the shirt that every senior gets to sign. Please submit your designs for the Class of 2027 Senior Shirt to Mrs. Ledden in Room CS347 by Friday, September 18^th. You do not have to be a senior to submit designs for the shirt. We need a front shirt design and a back shirt design. Each of these designs is a separate contest and, thanks to a generous donation, each has a $50 prize – $100 if you win both!  Be sure to incorporate ORHS, Seniors, and Class of 2027 into your drawings.  Place your name and first period teacher’s name on the back of each design entry.  Entries must be original work and if selected, will become the property of Oak Ridge High School. (Selection committee reserves the right to combine two or more designs in which case each person will receive prize money.)

Attention AP Students: The Fall AP payment window will open on Tuesday, September 15^th and close on Friday, October 30^th at 11:59pm for all students currently enrolled in a fall or yearlong AP course.  If you begin your AP course in January, you will pay in the spring.  This year all AP exams are $102. The link to pay and register will be sent to all AP students via Parent/Student Square on September 15^th.

Juniors & Seniors First United Methodist Church will be serving chicken nuggets and mac n cheese! The cost is $4; however, if you aren’t able to pay, we won’t turn you away. Come and get it!”
