Parking along the track and Providence side of the arena parking lot will be blocked off on Friday, May 9, 2025, due to the mobile food pantry occurring on May 10.

Attention all NHS Juniors who signed up to usher Convocation! There will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, May 13th at 3:15 in the Auditorium to assign roles and practice before the Senior Breakfast the next morning. You will receive more information in your homeroom later this week. Please see Ms. Madame Barry if you are unable to attend. Thank you!
Students: Yearbook Distribution day will today, Friday, May 9 during first block. We will be on an extended first block morning assembly schedule to accommodate for this. You will be called down to the B-gym by grade, starting with upperclassmen first, to pickup an already purchased book or to purchase a book. We will have a very limited quantity of books to sell on this day. Purchases will be first come, first serve, and will be $85.00, cash only. For students who have already purchased a book online or at the school: you must be present to pick up your book. Previously purchased books can NOT be picked up by friends or siblings. Please have your badge so the yearbook staff can properly ID you. For any questions about this please see Mrs. Pryfogle in room CS312.
The ORHS Theatre Class presents Class Acts on Saturday, May 10th at 7pm. Tickets are $5 cash at the door. Students will be performing three student-directed one-act shows. Come join us for an entertaining night of theatre!
Calling all students! Do you want to help plan prom? Applications for the prom board are now open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors! Come by Mrs. Royster’s room anytime to pick up an application. Let’s start planning next year’s unforgettable prom together!

Did you attend this year’s prom? Were you bummed you didn’t get a Pura Vida bracelet to as a token of remembrance? Well we have good news! Our prom bracelets have finally been delivered! Please see Mrs. Royster in room VA 102 during third block to pick up your Pura Vida bracelet.
Since we’re on the subject, would you like to help plan Prom 2026? The ORHS Prom Board is open to all students Freshmen – Seniors who would like to share ideas and work together to make decisions regarding the prom venue, theme, poster design, decorations, songs for the DJ and more! If you would be interested in joining Prom Board 2026 please pick up a petition form from Mrs. Royster in room VA 102
SENIORS
Seniors all IT penalty fees must be paid in full to participate in graduation. Don’t delay, be sure to bring check or cash to the main office ASAP to avoid any delays in your graduation!
Seniors in less than two weeks you will be graduates! Register for your FREE party on that special night! Everyone must register online; students under 18 need to complete the form – you should have several by now, but they are still available in Student Services. The City of Oak Ridge, local businesses and private individuals have all made donations for you to have a fun-filled safe evening to celebrate your achievement! Come enjoy

Join us for a new exciting event to wrap up the school year – Sideline Social!
We will be holding a kickball and spike ball tournament, yearbook signing, face painting, water games, and Jenga. Concessions will also be available.
Come to Blankenship Today, May 9th from 6-8pm for an evening full of fun! Entry is free and all activities are $1.
