Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Sophomores – This Friday night is your night to show your spirit for Neon Night in the Arena.  Sophomores get in free as the Wildcats host the Rebels from Knox West. Boys JV game starts @ 4:30, Girls Varsity @ 6:00 and Boys Varsity @ 7:30. This Friday is also the night we will recognize the ORHS Bowling Cats prior to the Boys Varsity Game. T. Seals

Remember: Medic is coming tomorrow, Friday, January 27. If you have signed up, please remember to eat a full meal prior to and after donating and drink a lot of water to properly hydrate. If you have not signed up yet, but want to, come see Mrs. Minarik in CS200. If you are 16, you need parent’s permission. (Get form from Mrs. Minarik) Ages 17 and 18 do not need permission. One donation saves three lives!!!  S. Minarik

CLUB INFO

Join Philosophy Club after school on Friday in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) for a discussion on the social and ethical impacts of social media and electronic communications. We will also take our club photo for the yearbook at the start of the meeting.  A. Pickering

The Interact Club will meet on Monday, 1/30 after school until 4pm in the amphitheater.  Our club focuses on volunteering in our community. If you’re still looking for a club to join, check us out!  A. King

The German Club meeting is TODAY, Thursday, after school at 3:15 in room CS301. We will discuss the International Festival at the Children’s Museum, play games, speak German, listen to German, compete, and eat cookies!

The YuGi-Oh! Club will meet in CS 235 after school until 5 pm on Friday, January 27. Bring your cards and be ready to duel. If you don’t have cards, we have extras for you. This club is open to all ORHS students. See you then!  R. Colquitt

It’s not too late to get your Student Athletic Pass – the price is now $45.  This will get you in to any home regular season event for Basketball and all Spring sports.   Get your SAP ASAP in the Main Office
