It’s finally Spirit Week! Don’t forget to show your Wildcat pride this week as we support our football team this Friday against Lenoir City! Today Mathletes vs Athletes are competing. Don’t forget to pull out your leather jackets and leis for tomorrow’s Bikers vs. Surfers day. Make sure to take a picture and tag us on Instagram @orhs_stuco,  Best outfits will get $10 gift cards!

Have you ever been curious about the homes for the mentally ill? If so, or even if not, come watch “The Curious Savage” and experience a warm comedy comparing the kindness and loyalty of the patients inside The Cloisters with the greed and hostility of those on the outside. Join us in the auditorium for this thrilling story on September 15th, 17th, and 18th. Student Tickets are $5; Adult Tickets are $10. CLUB INFO

Want to learn more about the country of Honduras?  International Friends will meet TODAY in LC 335 at 3:15. Two of our own ORHS students will present on the culture, history, and language of Honduras. Honduran snacks will be provided. We will also make signs to support the Lady Wildcats soccer team. See Ms. Long and Ms. Golden for more information.

Are you interested in showcasing yourself as a singer, musician, or dancer? Do you want to build your skills as you prepare to audition for The Masquers Spring Musical – The Lightning Thief? If so, join us on Monday, September 19th for an audition workshop in the auditorium after school. Ben Rorabaugh, Masquers Music Director, will lead you through the audition process and then separate you into groups to discuss your audition piece with an adult musical coach. ¡Hola! Come learn about the culture of Spanish speaking countries! We will be discussing Día de los Muertos, (Day of the dead) TODAY @ 3:10 in LC304. The Interact Club will meet TODAY after school in the amphitheater until 4.  We are always accepting new members!

COUNSELING INFO

It is College Rep Visit season and this week we have some exciting schools visiting campus! After school on Wednesday, Berea College will be in the Counseling Office. Thursday Notre Dame will be in the Lobby during lunch.  And Friday after school the University of Chicago will be in the Counseling Office. Don’t miss your opportunity to meet these representatives!
