STUDENT INFO

 

 

The schedule change window is open TODAY until  3:30 p.m. Counselors are available in the amphitheater to work through schedule changes. If you have submitted the online form, be sure to check your email and stop by the amphitheater if you have questions or still need to work through a change. It is preferred that you come to the amphitheater during the class you want to change but you can also come by between classes or during lunch. (F) – B. Ottinger

 

The ORHS Student Council will have an informational meeting for juniors and seniors on Tuesday August 2nd during 3A lunch. If you are interested in joining a great group of motivated students promoting positive changes and student advocacy in the school, please come join us in LC311. The planned ORHS Swim Team meetings with Coach Hodge this week have been cancelled.  Please look to iNews and morning announcements next week to let you know when the meetings have been rescheduled. (W,F) – C. Hodge

 

If you missed the Masquers audition information yesterday you can find the forms on the door of the Masquers office by the cafeteria entrance. You must sign up for a time-slot for the auditions on Monday! There will also be an interest meeting with the Music Director of the Fall Showcase  and The Percy Jackson Musical on Wednesday, August 3rd right after school in the Performing Arts Center Auditorium. This meeting is for actors, singers, musicians and dancers who would like to perform in our fall showcase in November or our Spring Musical in March. (F) – T. Lloyd

 

 

 

CLUB INFO

 

Philosophy Club will not meet today. Our first meeting of the year will be next Friday, August 5. (F) – A. Pickering

 

Do you like to learn about other cultures? Are you interested in meeting new people at ORHS? If so, join us for the International Friends interest meeting after school on Monday, August 1st in Mrs. Long’s room, LC 335. Bring a snack food item from your culture or a favorite snack to share. The Wildcats for Change will be hosting their 2nd Annual Back to School Bash-  TOMORROW –  July 30 from 6-8 at Blankenship Field.  Come out and enjoy kickball, cornhole, tug of war, art and crafts plus much more! There will also be food trucks available.  We ask that all students enter from the bottom of Blankenship. (M,W,F) – A. King
