Lockers must be cleared out of all personal items and textbooks by Tuesday, May 24. All lockers must be cleared by 3:00 pm on these dates. Students should remove all materials that are to be discarded. The custodial staff will clean all lockers after school is dismissed for the summer and will discard non-school items. (Tu) Seals
The last day for OR is Thursday, May 19. (Th) – Thompson
If you notified Mr. Foust or Mrs. Thompson that you were going to miss your AP exam prior to the exam your makeups will be happening this week. Please be in the lobby of the Goff building at Roane State 15-30 minutes before the start of the exam. If you missed your exam without prior notification you were charged a $40 return fee. If you want your remaining $56 please request it from Mrs. Seals in the Main Office. Your refund will be mailed home.
The makeup schedule for this week is as follows:
Thursday – Human Geography at 8 and Biology at noon.
Friday – Microeconomics at 8. European History, Government and Politics, and World History Modern at noon. Questions? See Mr. Foust or Mrs. Thompson
Convocation Ushers- Don’t forget that Thursday night, May 19th, is Convocation! Even if you were unable to attend the informational meeting and/or Senior practice, Madame Barry has assigned you a role for the actual ceremony! Please meet in the Auditorium by 6PM on Thursday and remember to dress appropriately for the occasion! If you have questions, see Madame Barry in CS 307! (Th) – E. Barry
Do you want to get attacked by fire ants? No, probably not. There is a fire ant convention in the Chamber of Commerce parking lot and yard. We know many of you use that area throughout the day but please try to avoid it as much as possible until the ants are dealt with…permanently. (Tu-F) – G. Adams
Please check lost and found in Attendance if you have lost anything in the past 8 weeks. There is also a pink scooter and backpack that have been left in Student Services that need to be picked up. (Tu, Th) – C. Rhinehart
Mark your calendars – The ORS Free Sports Physical Clinic date has been set for THIS Sunday, May 22 in the Wildcat Arena – from 1:00 – 3:00. All Sports Information and Permission Forms must be entered on-line after April 16 at the following link:

In addition to the Free Sports Physical Clinic on Sunday, May 22, The Norris-Clinton Urgent Care Clinic will be offering FREE sports physicals at their facility in Clinton, across from Anderson County High School, through the month of May. Students can pick up a physical form from the Main Office to take with them for completion. (M, W, F – 5.20) TSeals

The 2022-2023 ORHS Boys Basketball Try Outs will be held Thursday, May 19 & Friday, May 20 from 3:30-5:00pm. This will be the only tryout dates for this upcoming season so if you cannot attend you will need to go see Coach Green prior to tryouts. (W, F – 5.18) – A. Green
There will be a cross country interest meeting on Tuesday, May 17th immediately after school in LC 326. (Th, M,Tu) – E. Wright
Any current high school student interested in trying out for the girls basketball team should attend tryouts on Monday, May 23 and Wednesday May 25 from 3:30-5:30 pm in the Wildcat Arena. (F) – P. Taylor
