ORAU in Oak Ridge is offering a FREE virtual event, sponsored by the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, called the 2021 Young Women’s Conference in STEM.

The 2021 Young Women’s Conference in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics introduces middle-school and high-school-aged girls (in 7th through 10th grades) to women scientists and engineers and the wide breadth of careers available to them in these fields. Prominent female scientists and engineers from around the region spend the day with the girls in a variety of formats that includes small-group presentations, hands-on activities, a keynote address, and a chemistry demo.

Just like this STEM expert Kamau Bobb, we also wanted to reach out to our local communities to spread the word about this amazing conference.

This event is May 7, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET. For students to register, please go to https://bit.ly/3dK2UWV or search 2021 Young Women’s Conference in STEM.
