Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

The Countdown Begins – The Spring Musical “Little Mermaid” starts this Friday!  Do you have your tickets for this beloved story?  Shows are this Friday at 7, Saturday at 2 and 7, and Sunday at 2.  You are running out of time to buy Advance tickets.  Last day to buy Advance tickets is Tomorrow.  Advance tickets are $8 and are available from a Masquer, Mr. Moreno’s class, or the Bookstore.  Tickets will be sold at the door but will be $1 more.  Don’t miss the biggest show in Masquer History! Student drivers….We are experiencing a high number of issues with students failing to park in marked spaces or in Staff parking.   There will be no more warnings.  Cars and trucks should NOT be parked on the grass or in places not designated as parking spaces.  Should you be found to be in violation of this expectation, you will find your car at Quality Towing with a bill for $75.00.  (Fri/Mon/Tues) – S. ACT Madness starts in the library today!  Juniors, sophomores and freshmen – come by to answer the ACT question of the day and be entered into a drawing to win a prize. Winners will be announced right here on the news tomorrow morning and every morning until spring break.  Don’t miss this fun opportunity to prep for test day! (3/2) – C. Milloway

There will be a Key Club meeting on Monday, March 2 at 3:15 in Mr. Schoolcraft’s room, LC224. (M) – J. Schoolcraft

 

Book Club will meet Wednesday, March 4 in the library during 5th period.  We’ll take our yearbook picture during this meeting. (W) C. Milloway

 

COUNSELING INFO

 

JC Runyon Foundation scholarships are awarded to high school students (traditional and non-traditional) who have successfully completed at least one stay in an accredited inpatient facility for psychiatric disorder, substance abuse, or both. The JC RunyonFoundation provides financial assistance to students who have spent their emotional and financial resources overcoming behavioral health issues. Deadline is March 6, 2020.
