Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

The Driving Center has posted the 2020 Driver Education Classes on its website, thedrivingcenter.org   Please take a look at the schedule to see if one of their classes will fit your schedule. Seats are limited so sign up early. (Tu, Th  12.17) –  T. Seals

 

Lost and Found- If you have lost any items during the 2nd nine-week term, please come to the Attendance Office and check the lost and found.  Items will be donated during the Winter Break. (Tu, Th – 12.19) – C. Rhinehart

 

SF1010- Any student going to take their permit test during the Winter Break will need a SF1010 form from the Attendance office.  Please get the form before you leave for break. (Tu, Th – 12.19) – C. Rhinehart

 

NHS Tutoring: Now that you’ve enjoyed your two extra hours of sleep (at the expense of first, second, and third periods), you’re ready to take it to the next level with Jessica Jacyno, Grace Wilson, and Anna Turner, all of whom prove that academics and athletics go hand in hand. CLUB INFO

 

Book Club in the library this Friday during 5th period.  Come have lunch, check out the books that have just arrived, and stock up books for winter break.  (Tu, Th,F 12.13) – C. Milloway

 

Lee Younger will be leading Christmas Carols at Fellowship of Christian Athletes on Friday at 7:10 at Providence House across from Wildcat Arena parking lot. ‘tis the season to enjoy Christmas carols, chicken biscuits and donuts at Providence House on Friday at 7:10.   (12/11-12/13) – T. COUNSELING INFO

 

A representative from the US Census Bureau will be in the lobby during lunch on December 12th to share opportunities available to students. (M, Tu, Th 12.12) – A. Campbell

 

Have you looked at the updated Scholarship, Testing and Career website on the ORHS Counseling page!  There is information for all ages – summer programs for current high school students, ACT/SAT prep and testing, surveys to help find a career path, and tons of scholarships ranging from local organizations to 4-year universities.  A lot of scholarship and summer programs have deadlines early in the Spring semester, so go to the website or stop by the Counseling Office to find an opportunity for you!
