Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

The Driving Center has posted the 2020 Driver Education Classes on its website, thedrivingcenter.org   Please take a look at the schedule to see if one of their classes will fit your schedule. Seats are limited so sign up early. (Tu, Th  12.17) –  T. Seals

Lost and Found- If you have lost any items during the 2nd nine-week term, please come to the Attendance Office and check the lost and found.  Items will be donated during the Winter Break. (Tu, Th – 12.19) – C. Rhinehart

SF1010- Any student going to take their permit test during the Winter Break will need a SF1010 form from the Attendance office.  Please get the form before you leave for break. (Tu, Th – 12.19) – C. Rhinehart

NHS Tutoring: Once again the meteorologists at the Weather Channel forecast snow for Tuesday night. Before the blizzard hits, get help on your ORHS course work from Klara Proffen, Leah Manning, and McKenna Norris in the Counseling Center from 3:15-3:50. (12/10) – A. Etheridge

CLUB INFO

Book Club in the library this Friday during 5th period.  Come have lunch, check out the books that have just arrived, and stock up books for winter break.  (Tu, Th,F 12.13) – C. Milloway

If you are interested in going skiing or snowboarding with the ORHS ski club, see Ms. Sobek or Ms. Stevens for details.  Our first Trip is the first Saturday after winter break on January 11th .  We are collected forms and money now and up to the week of the trip. (F, Tu 12.10) – D. Sobek

COUNSELING INFO

A representative from the US Census Bureau will be in the lobby during lunch on December 12th to share opportunities available to students. (M, Tu, Th 12.12) – A. Campbell

Wednesday, December 11, will be the final day this semester that the Wildcat Credit Union will be open. It will reopen on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Remember, you always have access to your funds at any Y-12 FCU branch. (W 12.11) – T.Seals

Seniors, quotes and memories are now available on Skyward to enter into this year’s yearbook. Simply check your Skyward messages to find a link to the google form where you can enter both. You must include your name to have your quote and memory featured, and please read all directions at the top of the form. The form will be open until Tuesday, December 10.
