Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Students can purchase an All-Sports Athletic Pass for $55.00. This pass will grant admission to all home games for ALL sports! The exception would be TSSAA hosted playoff games. Passes can be purchased at any time in the Main Office from Mrs. Seals. (Tu, Th)  – T. Seals

 

ACT Prep—If you signed up to take the ACT Math and Science Practice Tests, remember to show up in the Amphitheatre at 2:00 PM sharp on Wednesday, August 28, with two #2 pencils and an ACT approved calculator (like a TI-83 or TI-84). The Math Test will take 60 minutes, and the Science Test will take 35. Prepare to be finished at about 3:45 PM. Remember that we will analyze your results and go over questions on Wednesday, September 18, from 3:00-4:00 PM (8/27-8/28) – A. Etheridge

 

NHS Tutoring: Although Pellissippi State has just begun classes, it’s already mid-term here at ORHS. If you’d like help overcoming your mid-term malaise, Haley Jo Davis, Sophia Jodoin, and Bailee Lane are offering NHS Tutoring on Tuesday from 3:15-3:50 in the College and Career Room of the Counseling Center.  (8/27) – A. Are you interested in becoming a better listener? Do you want to be able to be a better support to your friends? If you answered yes, then please join us Tuesday, August 27 in the counseling office for the Teens 4 Contact Club.  (8/22, 8/26, 8/27) – A. King

 

Would you like to learn how to sew? Maybe you already know how to sew and want time to work on projects after school? Repairs, crafts, needlework – we can help you get started. Come to the Makerspace in the library on Thursday August 29th at 3:15 to learn more about this club. (M,T,W 8/28) NWitick

The Wildcats lost a hard fought close battle against Hardin Valley.  This Friday is a new day, and Wildcat Pride wants to PACK A BUS.  If you are interested in riding the pep bus to Kingsport on Friday, add your name to the list on Mr. Jarnigan’s door – room LC 321.  (8/27) – P.
