Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

All students must have a badge to turn in with their computers.  Students if you have lost your badge you need to purchase a new one for $5 dollars.   FYI –  The price for lost badges goes up to $10 dollars to replace next year.  (F) – C. Rhinehart

Lost and Found –  If you have lost anything in the last quarter please come and check the lost and found to retrieve you item if we have found it.

 

Driver’s Permit- If you are planning on getting your permit over the summer you are required to have a SF10-10 Form from school stating that you are in compliance with the Tennessee Laws.   Please come to the Attendance office and fill out the request to receive this form and it will be good all summer.  (5/20, 5/28, 5/29) – C. Athletic training is looking for two highly motivated students to be part of the student trainer team for football on Friday nights. If interested come by and see Terra in the Athletic training room next week after school.  (5.29) – S. Thompson

 

LAPTOP COLLECTION INFO

 

Underclassmen must turn their laptops in by June 4th at the end of Final Exams.  Students may begin bringing their devices, bags, and mifi devices to the Library on May 31st.  Once you have returned your device, you CANNOT retrieve it.

Underclassmen are also required to bring their ORHS ID badge.  If you do not turn in your badge, you will be expected to get a new badge and will be charged $10.00 at the beginning of the 2019-20 school year.

If there is damage to your device or you have lost an item, you will receive a letter at the time of turn-in.  If you have questions, please email Mrs. Thompson at sathompson@ortn.edu

House Method is opening the second annual House Method scholarship, which awards $1,000 toward the education of a student committed to bettering our lives in our homes. ATHLETICS

 

ORHS Boys Soccer is having a brief meeting for “new players” interested in trying out for the 2019 team.  Meeting is TONIGHT (Wednesday)  @ 5:15 in WC 100.

 

ORHS Boys Basketball Try Outs for the 2019-2020 Varsity and JV teams will be next Tuesday and Wednesday (5/28 & 5/29) immediately after school.  You must have a physical completed in order to tryout.  Please see Coach Green if you have any questions. (5/24, 5/28) – A. Green
