Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS –  THIS SUNDAY –   WILDCAT ARENA  –  1:00 – 3:00   If you are planning on playing any sports at ORHS next year you must have to have a current physical on file dated after April 15, 2019.     (M, W, F – 5/17) T. Seals




ORHS Calculators that have been rented for this year will be collected on the following dates during your Math class:  Seniors, Monday May 20th , All others on Tuesday, May 28th and Wednesday, 29th.

Calculators should be returned in clean, working condition. Students who have lost or broken calculators will be charged.  (F) – J. Zimprich


We have an important parking announcement for all students who drive to school.  For the remainder of the school year if your car is parked in a staff parking spot at any point in the day it is subject to be towed.  Please only park in student parking spots in the designated student lots (Arena and Turnpike) or on the street on Providence Road. Convocation Ushers- please mark your calendars for a mandatory meeting  with Madame Barry, immediately after school next Thursday, May 23rd, in the auditorium to assign roles and practice.  You will receive more information from your first period teacher soon. Merci! (F) – E. Barry


Members of the Class of 2020 Senior Steering Committee, Please remember that our first committee meeting will be held on Monday, May 20th during lunch in Ms. Hondorf’s room, LC210. We look forward to meeting with everyone at that time, but if you cannot attend, be sure to see Ms. Hondorf or Ms. Sobek by this Friday. New members of National Honor Society, remember that our first meeting is Monday, May 20th right after school in LC327. This meeting is mandatory, and we will elect officers for next year. Officers from the current NHS school year will be present to describe their duties to help you make informed decisions.(M) K. Senter


Teens for Contact will have their end of the year meeting Monday in the college and career room. We will have mental health professionals discussing their careers and we’ll be eating pizza !!! (M) – A. King


Join Philosophy Club after school this Friday in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) for our final meeting of the year. We will be discussing the philosophy of education and wishing our seniors well as they move on to their next adventures! (F) – A. Pickering




Seniors: do you have your cap, gown, and tassel? If you borrowed a cap & gown, did you remember to purchase the “19” tassel? If you need anything in order to be prepared to walk the stage May 30, please see Mrs. Ledden immediately in CS347. Tassels are $10. Also, extra announcements are available for $1.25 each. Seniors, if you would like a final transcript please complete the senior exit survey that was linked to you by your counselor.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Wendt in the counselors office. Final transcripts will be sent out mid-June once all grades are in Skyward. (M,W,F) – L. Wendt
